Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in the accounting, taxation and finance industries, 10 years working with NAB, 4 years as a commercial account and over 15 years in public practice. Andrew has been Principal and Director of his own accounting firm for the past 13 years. He has worked with clients both large and small, with simple and complex business models, from purchasing / selling a business or start up, business structures, accounting systems, business and cash flow planning, preparing financial reports and tax returns, GST, FBT, PAYG, payroll tax, income tax planning and advice, capital gains tax and self managed superannuation funds. Andrew has extensive experience across many industries from agriculture, mining, construction, retail, service, transport, hospitality, professional and medical services.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Business, Certified Practising Accountant, holds a CPA Public Practice Certificate, Registered Tax Agent and a Registered SMSF Auditor.
Jodie Mainwaring B.Bus
Jodie Mainwaring is a qualified accountant, with over 16 years of experience in the industry. With a Bachelor of Business degree under her belt, Jodie has worked predominantly in tax accounting, assisting her clients to achieve the best tax solutions and outcomes.
Jodie’s welcoming and caring attitude sees her spending quality time to not only produce quality results but also getting to know her clients, hearing their stories and sharing in their business journey.
Besides loving her workplace, which she describes as a “small, intimate, happy little family,” Jodie also enjoys travelling to new places and revisiting favourite old haunts.
As an accountant, Maxine Scales enjoys an organised approach to the variety of work she does at GPS Business Solutions.
Maxine has been part of the GPS team for eight years now, and loves coming through the doors to a nice office, working with great colleagues and a family-friendly approach.
Outside of work, Maxine keeps busy by spending quality time with her family and friends and taking scenic lunch cruises on her motorbike.
As the ‘newest’ member of GPS Business Solutions, Administrator Julie Crichton took to the friendly, welcoming and professional environment at the office easily.
After a number of years as an administration manager in local government, small business industries and other accounting firms, Julie brings valuable experience in coordinating systems, processes and procedures in an office.
Like her colleagues, Julie thrives on being able to meet and assist GPS clients personally. She also enjoys helping her team members and completing tasks successfully.
Outside of work, Julie values time spent with family and friends, and keeping fit and happy with running, walking and yoga.
